SABINO CANYON RECREATION AREA
Sabino Canyon is one of Tucson’s natural treasures. This is a beautiful and lush canyon that will redefine your concept of what the desert should look like. You can enjoy one of the many hiking trails or take a leisurely ride aboard the tram that winds through the canyon crossing back and forth across Sabino Creek. This is a great area for hikers, bikers, joggers, walkers, nature lovers, families and just about anyone else who love beautiful scenery and friendly people. If you would like to stay at a property near Sabino Canyon, check out our available units at Ventana Vista, this community is within walking distance to Sabino Canyon and has 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condos available. Additionally, you could Look at Canyon View, Veranda or The Greens which are all located on Tucson's Northeast side only about a mile away from Sabino Canyon.
VENTANA CANYON
Another Tucson Landmark is Ventana Canyon. The area is made famous by the Tucson Loews Ventana Canyon Resort and the Tom Fazio designed golf courses. In fact hole #3 of the Mountain course is said to be the most photographed hole west of the Mississippi. If golf isn’t your thing, you might enjoy strolling the grounds of the resort which include specimen cacti as well as several lakes and a short trail to a desert waterfall (great photo op). There are several great restaurants to choose from or perhaps you may want to just enjoy the city lights below while having a cocktail.
Many of our vacation rental properties are located in the community of Canyon View at Ventana which is immediately adjacent to the resort and actually has a path leading from the complex right to the lodge. This is a great complex for those who want to be surrounded by the natural beauty of Tucson's Sonoran desert. The Catalina mountains are the backdrop for this community and in fact the Ventana Canyon Trailhead starts right from the complex. Additionally, Veranda and The Greens are also great rental properties less than a mile away from Ventana Canyon.
LA ENCANTADA
La Encantada is Tucson’s new beautiful outdoor mall. It features many high-end retailers and several of Tucson’s best restaurants. It is located on top of the hill at Campbell and Skyline offering incredible city views. Directly across the street from La Encantada is Gallery Row where you can stroll through several art galleries and view some of the best work produced by local artists.
